We would like to take a minute to inform our community in a slight change in our response protocol due to the COVID-19 virus. As a fire district we are following the advice of The Center of Disease Control (CDC) and The Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) isolation guidelines and recommendations for First Responders. In the event that you may need us to respond for an emergency and you dial 911, you will be asked a series of questions by our 911 operators. Please answer all these questions to the best of your abilities. When fire department crews arrive they will also ask similar questions as well as be dressed in eye protection, masks, etc.

Please do not be alarmed. In no way, by following these recommendations will this delay or hinder any care for our community. This is simply to further protect the health of our citizens as well as our personnel.
